Death in Paradise fans very disappointed after major character leaves the series and what the main reason to leaving this series? explain here

The most ongoing episode of BBC's Death in Paradise also saw Neville Parker uncover the character of 'Sunset Chaser'

Death in Paradise fans were left "destroyed" following the latest episode on Sunday, Walk 3 after a famous person left the series. Viewers said farewell to Official Marlon Pryce, who has been played by Tahj Miles since 2021.

During the fifth episode of the ongoing series, Marlon pursued the choice to go with younger sibling Jocelyn to Kingston, Jamaica, where she had won a scholarship. Fortunately, Commissioner Selywn Patterson was ready to secure Marlon a task on the police force there.

Despite his exit from the series, the entryway has been passed on open for Marlon to get back to the show - similar as Official JP Hooper surprisingly did in the latest episode. Is it safe to say that you are sad to see the person leave?

Following Marlon's last episode, entertainer Tahj posted to his Instagram account. He wrote: "Senior Year. 4 years, 28 Eps and 3 specials. It's been genuine," posting a series of photos from his experience on the show.

In response, fans of Death in Paradise rushed to the comments. One person stated: "Was not expecting this by any means, destroyed ain't the word."

A second repeated: "colossal shame to see you go, perhaps you'll pull a JP and we will see you two or three years." A third remarked: "MARLON WHAT KIND OF Farewell WAS THAT WHY ARE YOU LEAVING YOU MAKE THE Whole SHOW."

A fourth stated: "Sad to see you go. From trainee official Marlon Cost to official Marlon Cost. The very best for your future acting vocation." And one more said: "Thank you genuinely for everything, your depiction of Marlon genuinely means more to me than you will at any point be aware, it's so bittersweet knowing you're leaving however thank you for the best 4 years, best of luck for the future and the plunge being a fan will always have your support. Much obliged to you for everything, Tahj."

Elsewhere in the most ongoing episode, Neville discovered that the personality of 'Sunset Chaser' was his ex Zoe, played by Taj Atwal. Death in Paradise continues on Sunday, Walk 10 at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. For the latest television and Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter.
