"Emma Stone on 'Jeopardy!': Fans Plead for the Star to Compete – Will Producers Answer?"

If you're a die-hard fan of Jeopardy!, know that you're sharing that very niche interest with none other than Oscar-winning actress and bona fide cool girl (and sometimes zombie) Emma Stone, who revealed that she not only watches every episode, but also takes the yearly online Jeopardy!

test every year in June. She shared her love for the show — and her deep desire to be on it — during a Variety Awards Circuit podcast interview. And no, Stone won't settle for a spot on Celebrity Jeopardy!

“I do not want to be on Celebrity Jeopardy! I really want to earn my stripes,” Stone said. "You can only take the test once a year with your email address, and I’ve never gotten on the show. I swear, I could go on Jeopardy!"

She described exactly how she watches the show, saying that she records every answer that she gets right and wrong. So, this is a humble request to the producers of the long-running show, which could definitely use some good press these days, to step up and offer Stone a chance to prove herself.

If she can play a zombie, sing alongside Ryan Gosling, give us a reason to love Disney live-action reboots, and wear Louis Vuitton naked dresses, she can go toe-to-toe with anyone on the quiz show.

Elsewhere in the interview, Stone spoke about working with Yorgos Lanthimos on Poor Things's final scene, which proved to be difficult with her "negative-1,000" prescription. She jokingly said that her vision is so bad, it's "four times legally not able to see."

“I took out my contacts to try that scene with Chris, who is at the end of an extremely long table,” she said. “So, during that scene, I actually couldn’t see him a lot of the time, which is kind of amazing. I felt like I was in a sort of hallucination fever dream where there was a blob speaking to me at the end of the table. It was pretty effective.”

Stone is set to team up with Lanthimos again for his next project, Kinds of Kindness, which also stars Willem Dafoe (who was also in Poor Things) along with Jesse Plemons, Margaret Qualley, and Hong Chau.
