On the heels of one of his ex-wives getting married and another going public with a boyfriend, Sister Wives starKody Brown has declared that his "confidence is coming back" after three divorces.
When the show premiered in 2010, the TLC reality series featured Kody and his four wives: Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn. The only wife currently still in a relationship with the Brown family patriarch is wife No. 4, Robyn.
“It's been a process,” Kody told People of adjusting to his new normal. “Really I just look forward to a future of a lot of forgiving and a lot of more understanding.”
The former polygamist explained that his self-esteem took a hit amid his divorces—but that he has slowly recovered.
“I feel like my confidence is coming back,” Kody said in the article published on Saturday, Jan. 20. “I got to find that space of grace and love for myself as well. Be it really forgiving of simple things, like just being angry about what has happened. I want to forgive myself for that and move on.”
It seems like most of the Brown family has moved on from the "A New Chapter:breakdown of their polygamous lifestyle. In October 2023, Kody's former third wife Christine married David Woolley after one year of dating.
And on Jan. 16, his former first wife, Meri, announced via Instagram that she has been dating a man named Amos for a few months.
Although Kody's second wife Janelle has not publicly disclosed a relationship, they confirmed news of their separation in December 2022.
Sister Wives Season 19 has been confirmed, however, fans will likely have to wait until late 2024 for more episodes of the TLC series.
