STRICTLY LOVE Strictly winner Ellie Drain at long last ends quiet on 'sentiment' with Vito Coppola after 'extreme science'

STRICTLY winner Ellie Leach and pro dancer Vito Coppola has finally broken their silence on their romance and "intense chemistry".

On Saturday night Coronation Street star Ellie, 22, beat West End star Layton and EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier to claim the top spot after three long months of training.

Ellie and pro partner Vito Coppola joined Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle on ITV's This Morning on Monday morning.

The soap star looked over the moon as she held her Glitterball Trophy tightly in her arms as she finally addressed rumours of a romance.

Craig asked the pair: "It's so intense in there and you're in that bubble training so much, how do you just suddenly stop. How do you do it?"

Ellie replied: "I don't know how I'm going to feel. This morning I woke up and was like 'Oh, I don't have training anymore'."

Vito interjected: "Don't worry, I'm going to call you, we can make a warm up," to which Ellie said: "I'm trying to have a break over Christmas and he'll be ringing me, like 'hiya, do you want to warm up now, we can do a few moves'."

Josie then asked the question that we've all been desperate to know.

The Bristolian presenter said: "I've got to ask because the chemistry between you is magic. We've seen you on that dancefloor and it was so beautiful to watch. Is there any romance between you guys.

"Is the rumours true or not?"

Ellie laughed and replied: "Honestly, we've just been having the most amazing time dancing and we've built a really strong bond and a friendship that will last forever."

Vito also echoed: "We have a really beautiful bond, a good bond. When you see a person and you connect with a person straight away.

"I'm a very first impression and when we met, we had that feeling that we knew each other for so long.

"I'm so so lucky to have you in my life."

Craig appeared to read between the lines and said: "There's 100 per cent romance, 100 per cent...I can see it."

Ellie and Vito quickly exclaimed: "No, no."

The soap star then added: "We've been through so much together, we've spent everyday together for the past three months. So we're really really lucky to have that bond that we've got and we'll be friends for life."

It comes after fans spotted that Ellie had whispered a sweet four word message to her pro partner Vitto during the show final.

On Saturday night hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly announced that Ellie had won and soap star immediately broke down in tears.

Crying happy tears, Ellie said: "I actually genuinely cannot believe this."

Turning to her professional partner Vito Coppola, who was in tears, she said: "For once you're crying more than me."

She then pointed at the Glitterball Trophy and whispered to Vito: "This is for you."

The touching words left the Italian pro emotional and he responded: "I mean this is like the cherry on the cake, all the bruises and blisters, you have been so amazing, you are Strictly.

"You represent Strictly. You are the diamond, you are shining."

Previously, we reported how the pair had "put their romance on ice" to focus on rehearsals for their three show-stopping routines in the final.

Yet during their opening Paso Doble on Saturday they kissed - leaving fans delighted.
