The home of the saviors leader did not run the same fate as other territories in the adaptation of Robert Kirkman's comics.

'Fear The Walking Dead' reveals what was from Negan's sanctuary after his defeat in 'The Walking Dead'Fear The Walking Dead' reveals what was from Negan's sanctuary after 'The Walking Dead'amc Throughout numerous episodes, the sanctuary became one of the most feared places for survivors to the zombie apocalypse of The Walking Dead.

Located in a large abandoned factory in Washington D.C. And surrounded by rudimentary security systems to stop the living dead and the enemies of other communities, Negan commanded for years this place full of violence and strict rules to comply with.

In the season 9 of The Walking Dead, Negan fled from Alexandria and discovered after years of captivity that his old home was full of zombies and in a state of semi -Andon, hidden among the weeds. A turning point that made us rethink whether the villain would return to the streets, but finally left behind to move forward in a new life.

Although the last episodes of the eleventh season of The Walking Dead already showed us some hint of the dismantling of the band and their peaceful agreements with the rest, the Fear The Walking Dead series has now approached in depth what really was of them.

What was the rest of the saviors in 'The Walking Dead'?

After Negan's imprisonment, those who remained there continued to make their own, but nothing as violent as their predecessor. The place was renamed the factory. Its inhabitants had some friction with the rest of the survivors, of which we were participants in the last episodes of The Walking Dead and in Fear The Walking Dead, but never really proved a problem.

Neither Simon's attempt at the mandate, nor then that of Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier, they managed to add the other communities as one more. And it is that in the sanctuary, adapted fiddignly from the comics of Robert Kirkman, the law of the strongest and insurrection always predominated. A safe recipe for disaster, so those who failed to integrate into Alexandria suffered a fatal destination.

Most of these little mounting vandals ended up dying in a zombie horde mobilized by Dwight, Sherry and June. A progressive decline that ended up finally evidenced in Chapter 8x09 of Fear The Walking Dead, where the sanctuary appeared destroyed after the waiting dead caused the collapse of the factory and only remained intact the oven.

The sequence in question was seven years after Negan's last visit to the sanctuary, who at the moment continues to delve into his new stories in the Spin-Off Dead City. A production in which the sanctuary is very present after the appearance of Croatian, a new villain who was also part of the group of saviors and disappeared after a wild confrontation with Negan.

In this spin-off we could also witness a trip to Negan's past, in a flashback in which he appeared again with his lieutenant in the sanctuary, Simon (Steven OGG). A decrepit place that Negan finally left behind. Or at least that's what appears.
